I am a proud, native Floridian, born and raised in Tampa, Florida, from a Honduran mother and a Jersey-Italian father. A graduate from University of Florida and Florida Coastal School of Law, I was running my trivia show with Trivia Night Live at Dos Gatos Jacksonville and I had recently purchased 8 decks of cards, a dealer shoe, and chips to practice the game of blackjack as a player. It occurred to me that with all the places to play poker there were no avenues for the public to play blackjack anywhere around. I pitched the idea to the owner, Jay Albertelli, of dealing blackjack on a slow night. He loved the idea and came up with the prizes. I’ve made lifelong friends – we’ve even gone to each others’ weddings. I’m proud to own the first and only free blackjack entertainment company in the country, and I’m grateful to those who helped me along the way.

Community projects: The Hubbard House, National Federation for the Blind, Cherry Elementary School, and teaching English as a second language at FSCJ as a volunteer.

Edwin Rivera is a performing musician, teacher, and an avid fan of Black Jack. A BJotR dealer for the past 6 years, Edwin provides a high energy, exciting, and welcoming environment to all who approach his table, novice and experts alike. Beware, there’s reason his name is not Ed-lose.

Tina Arniotis is a native of Queens NY and born in a family of Greek, Italian and Trinidadian heritage. At the age of 16, she pursued a career on Wall Street, where she attended Cornell Business school majoring in Business Math and Speech.

Tina identifies as a lesbian. By the time she came of legal age, she became a pioneer for the LGBT community, founding her non-profit organization Chutney Pride, cultivating equal rights, from 1997-2019. Tina has educated and collaborated with local politicians and state officials in the Eastern Tri-state area to accept LGBTQ individuals as people and practice mutual respect. She retired as a community leader after World Pride in June 2019 where millions of people gathered to celebrate not only the LGBTQ community but also people of color.

During the pandemic, Tina decided to leave New York for Jacksonville where she met Brandon Tomasello at one of the weekly free blackjack events. She quickly became a fan attending multiple games each week. Now she runs her own game at Sherwood’s and still finds time to play at the other venues.

Kryn Lee, originally from Syracuse, NY, has proudly called Jacksonville, FL, home for the past 28 years. For over a decade, she was well-known as the owner/operator of a local wedding cake company before discovering her new passion as a blackjack dealer. Beyond her professional achievements, Kryn finds her greatest fulfillment in being a devoted and loving mother to her two children. Kryn’s enthusiasm and genuine desire to connect with people make joining her blackjack table an exciting experience, ensuring that every moment spent in her company is full of entertainment.
